In fall of 2008, Honda's Senior Manager commenced the production of CR-V as the primary Vehicle in Greensburg, Indiana. The CR-V was the first in-house SUV creation of Honda, which was meant to be a unique creation in its class. At the Chicago Auto Display, the Honda CR-V was demonstrated for the maiden time in US. At the time of Toyota RAV4's release, the CR-V came into view as Subaru Forester and many years later as JDM Nissan Rasheen competing with Toyota.
Now, it is time for the release of 2010 CRV, which is expected to dominate the market in its segment of small to midsize SAVs. Honda is planning to produce the next generation CRV models at the East Liberty facility, which was initially dedicated to production of the Civic models exclusively.
