Most seem to agree that the most likely candidate is an M Division modified version of one of BMW's 3.0-liter straight-six units with either two or three turbos.
However, there are some rumors circulating around the net that BMW is developing a new force-fed V6 engine for its next M3 models. What you're about to watch is footage from a steering-wheel mounted camera -hence the wobbly picture- of a specially modified BWM Z3 racecar accelerating from zero to a little over 340km/h (211mph+) in less than 20 seconds.

As seen on several videos, the young woman, who was later identified as Jazmin Perez, tried in vain to save her BMW M5 from being destroyed. Perez had parked her car outside a store in downtown Vancouver, and when she returned, she found the mob burning down her V10-powered bimmer “to silver metal” as she told CBC News.
