Pagani has always occupied a special place in the world of hypercars, and its latest creation, the new Huayra, is no exception. Motor Trend's editor-in-chief Angus MacKenzie recently had the chance to take the Huayra for a quick spin and share the experience on Youtube. Read more »

Not So Fast: NHTSA Says No to Pagani Huayra Because it Doesn’t Comply with New Airbag Rules

Pagani’s new supercar, the V12-powered 700HP Huayra, will not be sold in the United States unless its maker conforms to the latest airbag regulations.

Video: Horacio Pagani Takes New Huayra for a Ride

It's perhaps the most exotic and flamboyantly styled supercar that money – and we mean lots of it - can buy these days. We're talking about the successor to the renowned Pagani Zonda called the Huayra.

Among the very few people in this world to have had the chance to take a ride in the brand-new Huayra is EVO magazine's Harry Metcalfe who was invited to a special event for Pagani owners in Sardinia.

The upper dome is formed from a tinted acrylic component that stretches up to the front bumper, where it could hide the additional headlights.

We know many of you have been waiting for a while to get an acoustic flavor of the much-hyped Pagani Huayra, and now, thanks to the recordings of Youtube’s supercar buff, Marchettino, so we'll keep this post short and sweet in the name of expediency.

Marchettino attached a video camera on the rear corner of the Huayra as the supercar made a quick lap around the Adria International Raceway, which is located the Veneto region of Northern Italy. The result? Well, let’s just say that we weren’t exactly thrilled from the sounds of the V12, but keep in mind this may be due to the poor fitting or quality of the camera.
