It's perhaps the most exotic and flamboyantly styled supercar that money – and we mean lots of it - can buy these days. We're talking about the successor to the renowned Pagani Zonda called the Huayra.

Among the very few people in this world to have had the chance to take a ride in the brand-new Huayra is EVO magazine's Harry Metcalfe who was invited to a special event for Pagani owners in Sardinia.

While Metcalfe wasn't able to drive the car himself, the company's founder and owner, Horaccio Pagani took him for a spin in the Huayra providing us with some pretty cool footage which you can check out for yourself in the video after the break.

VIDEO: This is What a Pagani Huayra Sounds Like on the Track

We know many of you have been waiting for a while to get an acoustic flavor of the much-hyped Pagani Huayra, and now, thanks to the recordings of Youtube’s supercar buff, Marchettino, so we'll keep this post short and sweet in the name of expediency.

Marchettino attached a video camera on the rear corner of the Huayra as the supercar made a quick lap around the Adria International Raceway, which is located the Veneto region of Northern Italy. The result? Well, let’s just say that we weren’t exactly thrilled from the sounds of the V12, but keep in mind this may be due to the poor fitting or quality of the camera.
